As a working student (m/f/d), you will support the Application Management Services team in daily operations, working 15-20 hours per week (with the possibility of increased involvement during semester breaks), and gain valuable practical experience. In this area, Syntax assists companies in managing, maintaining, and optimizing their software systems, whether operated in the customer's data center or in a cloud. The goal of AMS is to reduce IT costs, increase flexibility, and continuously improve the application in terms of processes, performance, and security through specialized industry knowledge.

 

These exciting tasks await you:

 

  • You support our experts mainly in projects and in the application management service 
  • You take over the preparation and evaluation of reports 
  • You support the development of presentations in the ERP Core Services environment and take on translations German/English or English/German if necessary 
  • You will experience global cooperation and coordinate with the responsible contact persons in the respective regions

 

Your Profile:

 

  • You are currently studying business administration, computer science, industrial engineering or similar, ideally you have already completed the first semesters 
  • IT affinity and enjoy familiarising yourself with innovative topics
  • Very good knowledge of Microsoft Office
  • Initial practical experience (internship or working student activity) or training in the IT environment is an advantage
  • Analytical skills and a precise way of working
  • Proactive, independent and structured way of working and hands-on mentality
  • Very good written and spoken communication skills in German and English
