Team Manager (m/w/d) Internal AMS SAP

As Team Manager (m/f/d) Internal AMS SAP you are responsible for the Application Management Services (AMS) for SAP within SYNTAX as a strategic leadership position.

These exciting tasks await you:

• Leadership and Management: Provide strategic direction and leadership to the global AMS SAP team, ensuring alignment with the company’s objectives and seamless, high-performing service delivery
• Operational Excellence: Ensure the delivery of high-quality AMS services by developing and implementing global standards and best practices in incident management, problem resolution, and change management
• Client and Stakeholder Engagement: Serve as the primary liaison for internal stakeholders, including service management and delivery teams, to ensure consistent communication and alignment with business goals
• Service Improvement: Lead initiatives for continuous improvement, process optimization, and automation of AMS operations to drive efficiency and effectiveness
• Performance Monitoring: Monitor, report, and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) related to AMS service delivery and team performance, ensuring adherence to SLAs, compliance standards, and ITIL frameworks
• Project Leadership: Oversee internal SAP projects aimed at service enhancement and expansion, ensuring effective communication with responsible committees
• Team Development: Mentor and coach the AMS SAP team, fostering a culture of innovation, teamwork, and professional growth
• Cross-Departmental Coordination: Collaborate with various departments involved in service delivery, ensuring integrated and cohesive operations

Your profile:

• Completed studies in the fields of information technology, computer science, business administration or a comparable qualification
• Many years of professional experience with SAP AMS and in the areas of IT service provision, incident management and change management processes
• Comprehensive knowledge of SAP modules (primarily PS, FI/CO, SD and MM) and their integration into corporate environments Experience with cloud-based and on-prem SAP solutions (SAP S/4HANA, SAP BTP, SAP ECC) is an advantage
• Experience in leading a global team as well as communication and teamwork skills
• Excellent written and spoken English skills
• Proven ability to drive process improvements, implement automation and improve service capabilities
• Customer focus, analytical thinking and adaptability
