Role Overview

In this professional expert role, you play a central part in fostering the skills and potential of our employees. The primary focus is on designing, implementing, and executing global and regional talent development initiatives as well as internal training programs that align with Syntax’s business strategy and people objectives, and promote a culture of continuous learning and growth.

 

Your Responsibilities

Contribution to the global and regional Talent Development Strategy: 

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive talent development strategy for Europe that supports regional and organizational goals and requirements.
  • Collaborate with regional HR Business Partners and global Centers of Excellence (COEs) to identify talent development needs and priorities.

Leadership Development

  • Collaborate with regional HR Business Partners and leaders to identify high potential employees and support their career development.
  • Design and deliver global and regional leadership development programs.
  • Provide advisory support and coaching to leaders.

Career Development

  • Collaborate with leaders and regional HR Business Partners to support the creation and execution of individual development plans.
  • Promote career development opportunities within the organization.

Learning Programs

  • Design, deliver, and evaluate training and development programs to close skills gaps and enhance employees’ capabilities.
  • Support and promote global AI training initiatives.
  • Partner with technical departments to develop technical training curricula.
  • Design and deliver soft skills training for technical experts.

Performance Management

  • Collaborate with regional HR Business Partners to introduce, implement, and successfully run performance management processes.

Culture

  • Promote a culture of continuous learning by encouraging the value of professional development and self-directed learning.
  • Foster knowledge sharing and cross-functional collaboration.

Reporting

  • Provide regular reports on the progress and outcomes of talent development initiatives to the People & Culture Lead and COE Lead.
  • Ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements related to talent development.

 

Your Qualifications

  • Degree in Human Resources, Organizational Development, or a comparable field.
  • At least 5 years of professional experience in international matrix organizations.
  • Proven multi-year experience in talent development, DE&I, and training delivery in an international environment.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Strong project management and organizational development capabilities.
  • Experience with talent management software and learning management systems (LMS).
  • Business fluent German and English; French is a plus.
  • Certifications in talent development or related areas are an advantage.
