Your tasks - What you can expect:
Architecture and innovation - Developing future-proof solutions:
- Analyzing current business requirements and defining technological goals.
- Creating, designing and implementing customized SAP solutions that are perfectly aligned with our customers' business strategy
- Identification and communication of risks (business, technical, application-related) at company and business level.
- Participate in business and architecture planning sessions to anticipate future strategies.
- Define rollout, release and deployment strategies and assist in planning project scope, timelines and responsibilities.
Industry expertise and pre-sales - positioning SAP solutions convincingly:
- Leading pre-sales cycles, including tenders and customer requests.
- Support the retail go-to-market strategy through sales activities, events, webinars and collaboration with SAP and partners.
- Preparing and leading customer presentations and site assessments.
- Preparation of pre-sales documentation, such as timelines, role assignments and feasibility analyses.
Integration and coordination - successfully implementing projects:
- Coordinating and leading interdisciplinary teams (consultants, developers, analysts) across all project phases: analysis, design, configuration, development, testing, documentation and production takeover.
- Ensuring the integrity and end-to-end integration of all solution components.
- Support with fit-to-standard workshops, validation of technical solutions and identification of process improvements.
- Fastest possible diagnosis and solution of complex SAP problems during projects.
- Design and architecture of new SAP landscapes that are scalable, cost-efficient and future-proof.
Your profile:
- A degree in computer science, information technology, software engineering or a comparable qualification.
- At least 15 years of experience in SAP implementations, especially with SAP Retail and S/4HANA.
- Expertise in pre-sales activities, blueprints, Explore/Fit-to-Standard processes and integration projects.
- In-depth knowledge of the consumer industry, especially retail segment processes, trends and challenges.
- Strong strategic and tactical skills with excellent planning and execution skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in German and English (required for working with international clients and partners).
- Ability to confidently and persuasively address objections and a high level of discipline in client interactions.
