Would you like to help companies redesign and optimize their financial processes as part of S/4HANA transformations? As a Solution Architect SAP FI, you will advise our clients on the analysis, harmonization, and further development of core financial processes and play a key role in transformation and implementation projects. In doing so, you combine a deep understanding of finance processes with SAP expertise and work closely with business units, IT teams, and project stakeholders.

 

Your Responsibilities

 

  • Advising our clients on the design and optimization of end-to-end finance processes (e.g., Record-to-Report, Plan-to-Perform, Treasury, Group Reporting) in the SAP environment
  • Analyzing existing finance process landscapes and identifying opportunities for optimization, standardization, and automation
  • Designing, documenting, and further developing standard processes based on SAP best practices (S/4HANA Finance)
  • Supporting the design of global process and system landscapes (e.g., Central Finance, shared-service models, intercompany processes)
  • Coordinating between business units, IT, and project teams in implementation, rollout, and transformation projects
  • Ensuring process governance, documentation, and compliance with defined standards
  • Actively participating in S/4HANA transformations (Greenfield, Brownfield, Selective Data Transition)
  • Contribute to testing concepts, cutover planning, and hypercare phases, as well as training and change management activities
  • Work closely with solution architects, application consultants, and finance stakeholders to ensure end-to-end process integration

 

 

Your Profile

 

  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Business Informatics, Business Administration, Computer Science, or a comparable qualification
  • Several years of experience (approx. 10+ years) in SAP Finance process consulting (e.g., FI, CO, TRM, Group Reporting, PS, PSM)
  • In-depth understanding of core financial processes and corporate management (Accounting, Controlling, Consolidation, Treasury, Reporting)
  • Experience in S/4HANA Finance implementations or transition projects
  • Knowledge of modern SAP technologies and platforms such as SAP BTP, Fiori, SAP Cloud ALM, SAP Analytics Cloud, or Central Finance
  • Experience in process modeling and working with tools such as Signavio, ARIS, or BPMN
  • Strong communication and facilitation skills, as well as a confident demeanor when interacting with business units and management
  • Excellent written and spoken German and English skills
