Do you want to help companies future-proof their finance and controlling processes as well as their SAP landscapes? In this role, you will advise our clients on the design of modern SAP Finance and Controlling architectures, support S/4HANA transformations, and develop sustainable solution strategies in collaboration with business units and IT. In doing so, you will combine deep process knowledge in finance and controlling with technical architecture expertise and play a central role in complex transformation and innovation projects.

Your Responsibilities

• Advising our clients on the design of modern SAP finance and controlling architectures with a focus on S/4HANA
• Analyzing clients’ business requirements and translating them into sustainable SAP solution architectures
• Designing and further developing end-to-end architectures for Finance and Controlling (S/4HANA Finance, Controlling, Group Reporting, Treasury, BTP integrations)
• Defining and implementing architectural principles, standards, and roadmaps for Finance and Controlling transformations
• Evaluating and deploying new SAP technologies and innovation potentials (e.g., Universal Journal, Group Reporting, Advanced Compliance Reporting, DRC, AI-supported finance processes, Green Ledger)
• Creation and review of business and technical solution concepts in customer projects
• Consulting for business and IT stakeholders at the business and management levels
• Supporting S/4HANA transformations and international rollout programs
• Managing and coordinating with implementation and project partners
• Establishing governance processes and promoting Clean Core approaches

Your Profile

• Degree in Business Informatics, Business Administration, Computer Science, or a comparable qualification
• Several years of experience (approx. 10+ years) with SAP Finance modules such as FI, CO, TRM, Group Reporting, PS, PSM
• In-depth understanding of core finance processes (Accounting, Controlling, Consolidation, Treasury, Reporting)
• Experience in the architecture of complex SAP landscapes as well as in S/4HANA transformation projects
• Knowledge of various S/4 transition approaches (e.g., NewGL, Brownfield, Greenfield, Selective Data Transition)
• Strong knowledge of modern SAP technologies and platforms, particularly SAP BTP, Fiori, and S/4HANA Cloud (RISE / GROW)
• Strong analytical and conceptual skills, as well as excellent communication skills at the management level
• Very good written and spoken German and English
