Senior SAP BTP Engineer (m/f/d)

As an SAP BTP Engineer, you will develop innovative and scalable solutions in the areas of SAP BTP and also collaborate on hybrid architectures (e.g. AWS), take responsibility for the entire product lifecycle – from design and architecture to prototyping and development – and ensure that the highest standards in performance, security, and scalability are met.

These exciting tasks await you:

• Design and development of robust and scalable SAP BTP solutions, including the integration of other SAP modules and third-party providers
• Building, integrating, and delivering modern architectures for SAP applications and implementing secure backend solutions using SAP Cloud SDK and APIs
• Establishing guidelines to align architecture and design with the SAP strategy
• Working in a CI/CD DevOps environment focused on product releases and further development
• Developing and optimizing RESTful APIs for data exchange between SAP BTP and external systems
• Drafting technical documentation and providing technical leadership in the areas of development, security, and performance optimization
• Troubleshooting and resolving complex issues in the SAP BTP environment
• Ensuring that solutions meet the requirements for performance, security, and compliance

Your profile:

• You hold a bachelor's degree in computer science or a comparable IT-related field
• You have at least 5 years of experience in the architecture and development of SAP BTP solutions
• ABAP experience, especially with RAP and ABAP Cloud (Steampunk), as well as solid knowledge of SAP Cloud Application Programming (CAP) (ideally with Node.js), SAP HANA, and SAP BTP services, is a clear advantage
• Experience with cloud platforms like AWS or Azure complements your profile
• You are characterized by a solution-oriented mindset and excellent communication skills, which make it easy for you to work in a dedicated and collaborative team
• You are fluent in English, while knowledge of German and Spanish is an advantage
• You stay up to date on the latest SAP BTP features and industry trends, bringing an innovative and proactive approach to your work
