Start your career as a Security Engineer at SYNTAX and support our industrial customers in modernizing their security architectures and building sustainable cyber resilience. With us, you will actively shape the secure operation of modern IT landscapes and work with international teams of experts on innovative security services.
These exciting tasks await you:
- Supporting our customers in security-related issues from design to operation
- Participating in the analysis, design, and further development of existing security services
- Collaborating in the implementation and support of modern security technologies such as EDR/XDR, IDS/IPS, PAM, vulnerability management, and SIEM
- Collaboration in the creation and maintenance of security guidelines and processes
- Close cooperation with our European and global Security Operations Center (SOC) for the continuous development of our solutions and processes
Your profile:
- Initial experience in the field of cybersecurity, networks, operating systems, and security architecturesBasic knowledge or initial exposure to common security tools (e.g., EDR/XDR, IPS/IDS, PAM, SIEM, or vulnerability management)
- Initial experience in the field of automation & scripting (e.g., with Python, PowerShell, or Ansible)
- Interest in topics such as indicators of compromise (IOC), risk analysis, or common security frameworks (e.g., ISO 27001, NIST)
- Analytical thinking, team spirit, and willingness to learn
- Very good German skills and good English skills
- CyberArk skills are desirable
