As an IT Service Desk Specialist (m/f/d), you will be the central point of contact for our customers, supporting them with questions and issues related to IT.

Your exciting responsibilities will include:

  • Receiving customer inquiries by phone and electronically (incidents, service requests, and change requests) as part of 1st level support, and documenting them in the ticketing system.
  • Performing initial qualification and prioritization of tickets in areas such as user management (AD, Azure), SAP, MS Office applications, Cisco VPN, telecommunications, general client/server support, and “how-to” support.
  • Carrying out error analyses and initiating appropriate measures.
  • Working closely and coordinating with 2nd and 3rd level support.
  • Supporting projects (ITSM processes, transition).
  • Creating documentation, process descriptions, work instructions, and manuals for our internal knowledge base and routing matrix.
  • Coordinating closely with colleagues in our internationally oriented team as part of 24/7 support.

 

Your profile:

  • An apprenticeship as an IT specialist, a comparable IT qualification, or experience in IT support.
  • Broad-based IT knowledge (e.g., clients, Windows, networks, SAP) as well as initial experience in IT customer support.
  • Strong IT affinity and enthusiasm for acquiring new information, continuously developing IT expertise, and applying this knowledge in daily work.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, along with a clear and professional communication style.
  • Strong customer and service orientation with a high commitment to providing outstanding service.
  • Basic knowledge of IT Service Management according to the ITIL standard; ITIL Foundation certification is a plus.
  • Excellent German skills and very good English skills, both spoken and written.
