Hybrid or at our office in Weinheim. This is a part-time position (approx. 20 hours per week).


Start your career as an IT Asset Specialist at SYNTAX and support our industrial customers in the life cycle management of their hardware and software environment. With us, you can get to know complex IT infrastructures in various exciting customer environments and keep them up to date.

 

These exciting tasks await you:

 

  • Management and maintenance of the entire hardware lifecycle (PCs, laptops, mobile devices, peripherals).
  • Recording, documentation, and updating of all IT assets in the asset management system.
  • Creation of demand requirements in close coordination with the purchasing department.
  • Conducting internal inventories and reconciling our stock levels.
  • Taking back and  documenting returned devices.
  • Coordinating repairs, RMA processes, and replacement devices.
  • Creating reports, evaluations, and documentation for internal and external stakeholders and to ensure correct billing.
  • Working closely with service managers, purchasing, and the warehouse.

 

 

Your profile:

 

  • Vocational degree in IT or business (e.g., IT specialist, IT support, industrial/office clerk).
  • Structured, careful, and process-oriented approach to work.
  • High level of customer and service orientation, confident conduct.
  • Good knowledge of Microsoft Office.
  • Knowledge of SAP is an advantage.
  • Interest in hardware components, IT environments, and tools is desirable.
  • Good knowledge of German and solid knowledge of English for documentation and communication.
