In the role of IT Account Manager (m/f/d), you will be responsible for new and existing customers. You will be responsible for our managed services portfolio in our north-west region from Hamburg to Münster – both from your home office and on site at the customer's premises. Help Syntax tap into new potential and retain it in the long term with your sales instinct.
These tasks await you
- You will be responsible for acquiring new customers in your region in the industrial SME sector, with a focus on cloud computing, managed services, IT outsourcing, hosting, and our Microsoft portfolio.
- You will be the first point of contact for potential new customers (especially in manufacturing) and will guide them from initial contact to contract conclusion.
- You will also develop existing customers, build a powerful network, and identify cross-selling and upselling potential.
- You will work closely with your customers, analyze individual requirements, and present tailor-made cloud and IT outsourcing solutions that deliver real business impact.
- In close coordination with presales, consulting, project management, and service management, you will get the most out of every sales situation and ensure a first-class customer journey.
- You actively follow market and technology trends and use them to derive targeted sales activities for your region.
Your profile
- You have several years of experience in selling complex IT services, ideally in the areas of managed services, cloud, IoT, hosting, Microsoft Azure, or Oracle.
- You have a strong hunter mindset: you proactively approach customers, persevere, and convince them with your strong negotiating skills.
- With your empathetic, engaging, and customer-oriented manner, you build lasting relationships both with new customers and in existing customer business.
- You are motivated to win new customers in the IT environment, successfully close deals, and build long-term partnerships.
- You have business fluent German skills and good written and spoken English skills.
- A valid driver's license and willingness to travel regionally round off your profile.
