SAP FP&A Architect

Syntax is seeking an experienced SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC) Planning FP&A Architect to design and deliver scalable SAC Planning solutions that support client financial planning, analysis, and reporting needs. This role combines strong SAC technical expertise with a solid understanding of FP&A processes to translate business requirements into effective, sustainable solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and implement SAC Planning solutions for complex FP&A requirements.
• Develop scalable, reusable architecture aligned with business and technical standards.
• Integrate SAC with SAP systems such as S/4HANA, BW/4HANA, and SAP Datasphere, as well as third-party platforms.
• Lead requirements workshops and translate business needs into technical designs.
• Advise clients on planning, forecasting, budgeting, scenario modeling, and reporting capabilities.
• Oversee solution delivery and resolve architectural issues during implementation.
• Collaborate with consultants, business stakeholders, and technical teams to ensure successful outcomes.
• Deliver demos, presentations, and recommendations to clients.
• Stay current on SAC Planning enhancements and promote best practices across the team.

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 10 years of experience architecting and implementing SAC Planning solutions.
• Strong knowledge of planning models, data actions, multi actions, reporting, and data integration.
• Solid understanding of FP&A processes, including budgeting, forecasting, scenario planning, variance analysis, and reporting.
• Experience with SAP systems such as S/4HANA, BW/4HANA, or SAP Datasphere.
• Experience with BPC Planning, BPC Consolidation, or SAP Group Reporting.

Education & Certifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Business, Computer Science, or a related field.
• SAP Analytics Cloud or related SAP certifications are highly desirable.
