We currently have a vacancy for a FICO Solution Architect:

 

Job Summary: Syntax Systems Ltd is seeking a highly skilled SAP FICO Architect to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for the overall design, architecture, and implementation of global SAP solutions, specifically focusing on FICO, FSCM, and BW modules. You will utilize your expertise in S/4HANA and ERP solutions to influence business strategies and drive continuous improvement in our architecture function. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills, a deep understanding of accounting and finance processes, and the ability to collaborate effectively at all levels of the organization.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the global SAP solution architecture for FICO, FSCM, and BW modules.
  • Ensure the architecture is aligned with business needs and technology solutions.
  • Architect SAP solutions for deployment, configuration, and operations with a focus on scalability, maintainability, and resiliency.
  • Facilitate the design of the overall system landscape, including business needs evaluation and integration plans.
  • Collaborate with functional SAP consultants to leverage best practices in client service and problem resolution.
  • Provide input to the Design Authority and enterprise architects.
  • Maintain a focus on business drivers and system functionality to influence stakeholders.
  • Continuously improve the architecture function and uphold standards for sustainability in design.

Required Qualifications:

  • University degree in computer science, engineering, or equivalent field.
  • 7-12 years of experience with full lifecycle S/4HANA implementations, including integration with other SAP solutions.
  • Expertise in enterprise architecture and integration platforms (API).
  • Deep knowledge of SAP software products, particularly S/4 HANA, Concur, SAP HANA, and SAP Business Warehouse.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a creative approach to solutions.
  • Excellent understanding of accounting, controlling, and finance processes as they relate to SAP solutions.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Subject matter expertise in multiple ERP solutions across various industries.
  • Familiarity with architectural applications such as ARIS.
  • Ability to present complex ideas clearly in both written and verbal communication.
  • Experience working in a high-pressure environment while managing client expectations.

Educational and Certification Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (Master's degree preferred).
  • Relevant SAP certifications (e.g., SAP Certified Application Associate – Financial Accounting with SAP ERP) are a plus.
