Job Summary: Syntax Systems Ltd is seeking a highly skilled SAP FI/CO Consultant with a strong background in finance and controlling. This role involves analyzing business requirements, designing test plans, coordinating project tasks, and providing support for business applications. The consultant will work closely with business decision-makers and end-users to ensure that solutions meet the organization’s needs and objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

• Analyze business requirements by conducting information-gathering sessions with clients and documenting an accurate understanding of their needs while mapping them to SAP business processes.
• Make recommendations for the selection of appropriate SAP business processes to effectively meet client requirements.
• Utilize testing methodologies, processes, and tools to conduct functionality testing, including unit, integration, system, regression, and dry run testing.
• Design and develop comprehensive test plans, including test objectives, test cases, test data, and test scripts, to ensure solutions meet business requirements.
• Develop process models based on business requirements to assess the completeness of information and process components.
• Coordinate the execution of project tasks within the functional area while managing tight deadlines.
• Provide support for business applications or infrastructure, including break/fix support, minor enhancements, monitoring, and testing, to maintain productivity levels.
• Deliver basic SAP training to client end-users, ensuring they are equipped to utilize the systems effectively.
• Collaborate closely with business decision-makers and end-users to understand their needs and provide solutions.

Required Qualifications:

• Minimum of 10 years of hands-on experience in SAP FI/CO.
• At least 2 full lifecycle implementations of SAP.
• Knowledge of US Tax configuration.
• Strong business acumen and management consulting experience.
• Experience with SAP S/4HANA Finance, including Fiori Applications, is considered an asset.
• Ability to travel internationally.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Previous experience as an accountant.
• Strong oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills.

Educational and Certification Requirements:

• SAP Certification is required.
• A university degree in a relevant field is preferred.
