Job Summary:
Syntax is seeking a highly motivated SAP FICO Consultant - Public Cloud – Bilingual to join our team. This role is focused on optimizing and enhancing SAP S/4HANA Public Cloud Finance solutions for our clients. The ideal candidate will possess experience with public cloud environments, a deep understanding of finance processes, and strong analytical and problem-solving skills. You will work closely with clients to tailor solutions that meet their specific business needs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, configure, and implement SAP S/4HANA Public Cloud Finance modules, including General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Asset Accounting, and Financial Planning and Analysis.
- Collaborate with clients to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications for system enhancements and implementations.
- Analyze existing finance processes and identify opportunities for optimization within the SAP environment.
- Manage change requests, including gathering requirements, testing, and deployment of new functionalities or enhancements.
- Provide expert guidance and best practices to clients regarding SAP S/4HANA Public Cloud solutions.
- Conduct training sessions and workshops for clients to ensure effective utilization of SAP modules.
- Develop and maintain detailed documentation of system configurations, processes, and enhancements.
- Stay updated with the latest SAP S/4HANA Public Cloud developments and trends, proactively recommending improvements to clients.
Required Qualifications:
- Minimum of 5 years of experience with SAP FICO and at least 2 years of experience with SAP S/4HANA Public Cloud solutions.
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Strong understanding of finance and accounting principles and practices relevant to public cloud solutions.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex issues.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively engage and collaborate with clients and team members.
- Proven ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Bilingual proficiency in French and English.
Preferred Qualifications:
- SAP certification in Finance.
- Experience with SAP Fiori applications and UI5.
- Knowledge of SAP Activate methodology and SAP Best Practices for S/4HANA Public Cloud.
- Familiarity with ITIL processes and principles.
Educational and Certification Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Information Technology, or a related field.
- SAP certification in FICO (preferred).
