The SuccessFactors Technical Architect is a key role at Syntax.

Responsibilities:

  • Drive the modernization and standardization of business processes on the latest SAP HCM solutions.
  • Understand business requirements, and translate them into code via design, development, testing, defect analysis and resolution, and implementation.
  • Analyze existing configurations and customizations to understand impact across modules to design high-quality solutions.
  • Act as the development leads, making recommendations on managing and sequencing releases, tech debt, and defects.
  • Lead technical migration/replication between SAP and Success Factors Employee Central.
  • Desirable Experience on AMS projects and is aware of the Service processes of AMS .
  • Provides support for pre-sales initiatives that include developing and reviewing roadmaps, estimates, and responses to RFP/RFQ’s.
  • Able to complete/assist in demonstration set ups and create and delivers high quality demonstrations and presentations.
  • Responsible for supporting functional and technical leads in workshops.
  • Designs and supports proof of concepts to demonstrate proposed technical solutions.
  • Assists and review the preparation of workshop/training materials.
  • Proactively identifies process improvements, including clear and concise solution definitions.
  • Gathers and analyzes the clients’ business requirements and objectives.

Requirements:

  • SAP development expert: You have 5+ years of development experience in ABAP (e.g., RESTful ABAP, ABAP Cloud, CDS data models) and familiarity with SAP modules such as HCM Payroll, Time Management and SuccessFactors Employee Central.
  • Deep technical understanding of the replication process for both PTP replication as well as BIB based replication.
  • Experience with replication of global employees that have multiple employments as well as inpats/expats.
  • Vast experience with Custom Screens, ALV Reports and Interface (both inbound and outbound); Custom Infotypes; ABAP Objects; IDOC development and maintenance; SAP Query and Infoset maintenance; Smartforms and SapScript; Benefits configuration and Payroll Configuration, Odata services, UI5/Fiori development, Success Factors APIs, Transformations, DMEE trees/formats
  • Confident engaging with all levels of management both customer and internal
  • Polished presentation skills
  • Extensive knowledge of middleware technologies such as Boomi, SAP BTP, Integration Center
  • Experience with SAP HCM (on-premise), S4 an asset but not required
