SAP Data Migration Lead

Key Responsibilities:

- Lead end-to-end data migration activities for the transition to SAP S4HANA, including data extraction, transformation, validation, and loading.

- Collaborate with business stakeholders, IT teams, and external vendors to define data migration requirements, priorities, and timelines.

- Develop and implement data migration strategies, plans, and methodologies tailored to the specific needs of the organization and the SAP S4HANA environment.

- Design and optimize data migration processes to ensure data quality, accuracy, and consistency throughout the migration lifecycle.

- Manage and mentor a team of data migration specialists, providing guidance, support, and expertise to ensure project success.

- Perform data analysis, profiling, and cleansing activities to identify and resolve data quality issues and ensure data integrity.

- Establish and maintain effective communication channels with stakeholders to provide regular updates on project progress, risks, and issues.

- Conduct post-migration validation and reconciliation activities to ensure data completeness and accuracy in the SAP S4HANA environment.

- Stay current with industry trends, best practices, and advancements in SAP S4HANA data migration technologies and methodologies.

Qualifications:

- Minimum of 10 years of experience in SAP data migration, with a focus on SAP S4HANA.

- In-depth knowledge of SAP data migration tools and technologies, including LSMW, and SAP S/4HANA Migration Cockpit.

- Strong understanding of SAP data structures, data models, and integration points across SAP modules.

- Proven experience leading SAP data migration projects from initiation to completion.

- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills with a meticulous attention to detail.

- Strong leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate and communicate with diverse stakeholders.

- Experience working in Agile or iterative project management methodologies is a plus.

- SAP certification(s) in data migration or related areas is a plus.
