Business Development Representative – SAP & AMS Solutions
Job Summary:
The Business Development Representative (BDR) for SAP & Application Managed Services (AMS) Solutions plays a critical role in driving pipeline growth across Syntax’s SAP and AMS offerings. This role focuses on identifying and qualifying new opportunities within target industries, including Fashion, Wholesale Distribution, Retail, Mining, IM&C, EC&O, and CPG. The BDR will engage decision-makers such as CHROs, CIOs, COOs, and IT leaders to position Syntax’s managed services, ERP solutions, and SAP Line of Business (LOB) solutions (SuccessFactors, Customer Experience, Digital Manufacturing).
Key Responsibilities:
- Opportunity Identification & Qualification:
- Identify and qualify sales opportunities for AMS and SAP LOB solutions, including ERP application management, SAP SuccessFactors, Customer Experience (CX), and Digital Manufacturing (DM).
- Conduct discovery calls to understand business challenges and position Syntax’s solutions effectively.
- Strategic Outreach & Engagement:
- Develop and execute industry-specific campaigns targeting key decision-makers.
- Conduct proactive outreach using HubSpot, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, email, and phone campaigns to build relationships with IT, HR, and operations leaders.
- Drive attendance for Syntax webinars, events, and thought leadership sessions to nurture leads.
- Collaboration & Sales Enablement:
- Work closely with Account Executives (AEs) to strategize on high-value opportunities and penetrate target accounts.
- Align with marketing teams to leverage content, events, and industry insights to drive engagement.
- Industry & Solution Expertise:
- Stay informed about trends in managed services, cloud hosting, IT operations, HR technology, and customer experience solutions.
- Understand customer pain points in HR, IT, and operations and position Syntax’s offerings as value-driven solutions.
- Data & Pipeline Management:
- Ensure accurate tracking of activities, leads, and pipeline progress in Salesforce.
- Maintain clean and organized data for sales reporting and forecasting.
Requirements:
- 1–3 years of experience in B2B sales, business development, or a related role, ideally with exposure to SAP ecosystems and IT managed services.
- Strong understanding of IT operations, managed services, ERP solutions, and HR/customer experience challenges.
- Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Detail-oriented with strong time management and multitasking skills.
- Demonstrated success in meeting or exceeding lead generation and pipeline development targets
