Job Summary:

We are looking for a detail-oriented SAP FICO Consultant to support our SAP Finance and Controlling (FICO) modules. The consultant will play a key role in configuring, implementing, and supporting SAP FICO solutions to meet business and operational requirements. This role requires a deep understanding of financial and controlling processes and SAP best practices, enabling the business to achieve accurate and efficient financial reporting and cost control.


Key Responsibilities:

  1. SAP FICO Configuration and Implementation:

    • Configure SAP FICO modules, including General Ledger (GL), Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), Asset Accounting (AA), and Controlling (CO) components.
    • Implement and optimize FICO functionalities to improve processes in financial accounting, cost accounting, and reporting.
  2. Requirements Gathering and Analysis:

    • Work with finance, accounting, and controlling teams to gather and analyze business requirements.
    • Translate business needs into technical specifications and provide insights into the FICO system setup to support end-to-end financial processes.
  3. Process Optimization and Integration:

    • Identify and implement process improvements to streamline financial and controlling processes.
    • Ensure seamless integration of FICO with other SAP modules (e.g., MM, SD) to support overall business operations.
  4. Testing and Quality Assurance:

    • Conduct unit testing, integration testing, and user acceptance testing (UAT) to validate FICO configurations.
    • Ensure data accuracy and system integrity across financial and controlling functions.
  5. Documentation and User Training:

    • Develop and maintain detailed technical and process documentation, including process flows, functional specifications, and configuration guides.
    • Provide training and support to end users on FICO functionalities, ensuring effective system adoption.
  6. Post-Go-Live Support and Troubleshooting:

    • Provide post-go-live support, including troubleshooting issues, addressing system errors, and optimizing FICO configurations.
    • Assist with ongoing maintenance and enhancement of the SAP FICO environment.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Experience: 4+ years of experience in SAP FICO consulting with full-cycle implementation experience.

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Information Technology, or related field.

  • Technical Skills:

    • Proficiency in SAP FICO modules, including General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Asset Accounting, and Controlling components.
    • Strong understanding of financial accounting, cost center accounting, profit center accounting, internal orders, and financial reporting.
    • Knowledge of SAP FICO integration with other SAP modules (e.g., MM, SD).
    • Experience with SAP S/4HANA FICO functionalities is an advantage.
    • Familiarity with ABAP debugging for troubleshooting.
  • Soft Skills:

    • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
    • Strong communication and interpersonal skills for interacting with finance and cross-functional teams.
    • Self-motivated and able to work independently in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • SAP FICO certification.
  • Experience with SAP S/4HANA migrations or implementations.
  • Familiarity with SAP Activate methodology.
  • Understanding of IFRS/GAAP principles and financial regulatory requirements.
