Senior Business Analyst - SAP Commerce Cloud
Job Summary: Syntax is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Senior Business Analyst with deep expertise in SAP Commerce Cloud and integration processes with SAP S/4HANA. In this pivotal role, you will bridge business needs with technical solutions, driving digital commerce initiatives and ensuring seamless integration across SAP platforms. Your contributions will directly influence the success of our e-commerce strategies and operational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
- Analyze and document business requirements related to SAP Commerce Cloud and its integration with SAP S/4HANA.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement end-to-end e-commerce solutions, including Commerce back-end processes, Commerce front-end components & pages, and integration with both SAP and non-SAP solutions.
- Lead workshops and stakeholder meetings to gather requirements and define solution roadmaps.
- Support the configuration and optimization of SAP Commerce Cloud modules such as SmartEdit, Product Content Management (PCM), Adaptive Search, and Order Management.
- Ensure robust integration, particularly with SAP S/4HANA, focusing on areas like order-to-cash and product master data, as well as integrations with payment providers, tax engines, DAM, PIM, personalization engines, marketing automation platforms, and web analytics.
- Provide guidance on best practices and industry standards for SAP Customer Experience (CX).
Required Qualifications:
- 5+ years of experience as a Business Analyst or Functional Consultant in SAP Commerce Cloud.
- Strong understanding of SAP Commerce Cloud architecture and modules.
- Proven experience with integration processes between SAP Commerce Cloud and ERPs.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Fluent in English.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with SAP Composable storefront.
- Knowledge of web development languages such as Angular, JavaScript, HTML5, CSS, and Java Spring framework.
- SEO knowledge and familiarity with Google Analytics.
- Experience with SAP S/4HANA modules, particularly Sales & Distribution (SD) and retail.
- Familiarity with other SAP Customer Experience solutions, including SAP Emarsys, SAP Customer Data Platform (CDP), SAP Sales & Service Cloud v2, and Retail Industry Solutions.
- SAP certification(s) in relevant areas.
Education & Certifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Relevant SAP certifications are a plus.
