SAP Security Consultant

Overview

We are seeking an experienced SAP Security Consultant to design, implement, and manage SAP security solutions across various SAP landscapes. This role is responsible for ensuring proper access controls, compliance, and governance while supporting business operations and minimizing risk.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and implement SAP security roles and authorizations across SAP systems (e.g., S/4HANA, ECC, Fiori, BW, GRC).
• Manage user access provisioning, de-provisioning, and role maintenance.
• Ensure compliance with internal controls, audit requirements, and segregation of duties (SoD).
• Support and maintain SAP GRC (Access Control) modules, including risk analysis and mitigation.
• Conduct user access reviews and audits, ensuring proper documentation and compliance.
• Troubleshoot and resolve authorization issues and access-related incidents.
• Collaborate with functional and technical teams to align security design with business requirements.
• Participate in SAP implementations, upgrades, and migrations (including S/4HANA transformations).
• Maintain documentation of roles, profiles, and security procedures.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field.
• 5–8+ years of experience in SAP Security and Authorizations.
• Strong hands-on experience with SAP roles and authorization concepts.
• Experience with SAP GRC Access Control (ARA, ARM, BRM, EAM).
• Knowledge of Segregation of Duties (SoD) and audit/compliance frameworks.
• Experience supporting SAP ECC and/or S/4HANA environments.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Good communication skills and ability to work with cross-functional teams.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with SAP Fiori security and UI authorizations.
• Exposure to SAP Cloud environments (BTP, SuccessFactors, Ariba).
• SAP certifications in Security or related modules.
• Experience in global or multi-country SAP environments.
