SAP ABAP Consultant

Position Summary

We are seeking an experienced SAP ABAP Consultant to design, develop, and support custom SAP solutions across multiple SAP modules. The ideal candidate will have strong ABAP development expertise, excellent problem-solving skills, and experience working in SAP ECC and/or SAP S/4HANA environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and maintain SAP ABAP programs, reports, interfaces, enhancements, forms, and workflows.
• Develop custom solutions using Classical Reports, ALV Reports, Module Pool Programming, SmartForms, SAPScripts, and Adobe Forms.
• Create and maintain enhancements using User Exits, Customer Exits, BAdIs, and Enhancement Framework.
• Develop interfaces using IDocs, BAPIs, RFCs, OData Services, and Web Services.
• Build and optimize CDS Views, AMDP, and ABAP on HANA developments (preferred).
• Troubleshoot and resolve production issues while providing ongoing application support.
• Collaborate with functional consultants to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
• Perform code reviews and ensure compliance with SAP development standards and best practices.
• Participate in system upgrades, migrations, and S/4HANA implementation projects.
• Prepare technical documentation and knowledge transfer materials.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
• 4+ years of SAP ABAP development experience.
• Strong experience with:
  • Classical and Object-Oriented ABAP
  • ALV Reports
  • SmartForms / Adobe Forms
  • Module Pool Programming
  • User Exits, BAdIs, Enhancement Framework
  • IDocs, BAPIs, RFCs
  • Performance tuning and debugging
• Experience working with SAP ECC and/or SAP S/4HANA.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication skills.
• English proficiency required.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with SAP Fiori and SAPUI5.
• Experience developing OData Services.
• Knowledge of CDS Views and ABAP on HANA.
• Experience with SAP BTP.
• SAP certification is a plus.
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
