We are seeking a highly skilled AWS Cloud Engineer to design, implement, and maintain cloud-based infrastructure and services on Amazon Web Services. The ideal candidate has hands-on experience with cloud architecture, automation, CI/CD pipelines, security best practices, and operational excellence in AWS environments.


Key Responsibilities

  • Design, deploy, and manage scalable, secure, and highly available cloud infrastructure in AWS.

  • Implement Infrastructure as Code using tools such as Terraform, CloudFormation, or CDK.

  • Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines (e.g., AWS CodePipeline, GitLab CI, Jenkins).

  • Manage and optimize cloud networking (VPC, subnets, security groups, routing, NAT, VPN, Direct Connect).

  • Monitor performance and reliability using CloudWatch, X-Ray, and other observability tools.

  • Implement security controls and ensure compliance with industry standards (IAM, KMS, Secrets Manager, GuardDuty, Config).

  • Automate operational tasks and improve deployment reliability.

  • Support migration projects from on-premise environments to AWS.

  • Troubleshoot cloud infrastructure issues and provide 24/7 support as needed.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including DevOps, Development, Security, and Architecture.


Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or relevant field (or equivalent experience).

  • 3–5+ years of hands-on experience working with AWS services in production environments.

  • Strong knowledge of AWS core services: EC2, S3, Lambda, RDS, EKS/ECS, CloudFront, API Gateway, DynamoDB, SNS/SQS, IAM.

  • Experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, CloudFormation, CDK).

  • Proficiency with Linux systems administration and scripting (Python, Bash, PowerShell).

  • Experience with containerization and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes, EKS).

  • Familiarity with monitoring, logging, and incident management best practices.

  • Strong understanding of networking concepts and security principles.


Preferred Qualifications

  • AWS Certifications (AWS Solutions Architect, Developer, SysOps, or DevOps Engineer).

  • Experience with hybrid cloud environments and migration frameworks.

  • Knowledge of CI/CD best practices and Git-based workflows.

  • Experience with automation tools such as Ansible, Chef, or Puppet.

  • Understanding of FinOps and cost optimization strategies.
