Key skills:
- Has deep knowledge of SharePoint, OneDrive, Power Automate Admin functions including but not limited to installing, configuring, upgrading these tools, managing data across these tools and their and back-ups, managing system operations and services related to these tools.
- Has at least an intermediate knowledge of administration responsibilities for Azure AD and Office Exchange.
- Work is expected to predominantly be about proactive monitoring of the usage of these tools, ensuring that the policies and configuration is up to date and aligned to business expectations for utilization of these tools. The expectation is that this role isn’t only about reacting to things occurring but rather be able to understand the current infrastructure design adequately, identify potential weaknesses and bottlenecks and help either build controls around these weak points and bottlenecks or help reinforce them further.
- Will be the Tier 3 expert for ticket management (although this is expected to be a relatively low volume task) after the tickets have been triaged by Tier 2 engineers for their resolution. Will be very nice to have someone who is able to not just handle these tickets and resolve them but also participate in upgrading the skills of Tier 2 engineers to be able to handle more tickets by themselves.
- The current environment that is setup already is expected to be persisted with for the near future and changes expected are predicted to be more about keeping up with required business policies, regulations, etc. Power Automate however is seen as a possible tool that can unlock more use cases than currently explored which can grow further, so having good experience of Power Automate is a highly desired bonus to try and accelerate that process.
- Work hours are expected to be North America aligned with the person being available to cover for typical business hours relevant to US operations (includes EST, CST, MST, and PST).

- Continued Learning-- it is important that this individual have the desire and capacity to learn new skills relevant to the role and skills relevant to assisting in support of the larger team. This team member is part of a larger team supporting the overall M365 products, including AD, Outlook and Teams.

- SharePoint Solution Design: Design and architect SharePoint solutions based on business requirements, ensuring scalability, security, and compliance with best practices.
- Implementation and Configuration: Implement and configure SharePoint sites, libraries, workflows, and other components within the Microsoft 365 environment.
- Customization: Customize SharePoint sites and pages using SharePoint Designer, Power Apps, Power Automate, and other relevant tools to meet specific business needs.
- Document Management: Manage document libraries, version control, and metadata to ensure efficient document management and retrieval.
- Collaboration and Integration: Facilitate seamless collaboration by integrating SharePoint with other M365 services such as Teams, OneDrive, and Power BI\Automate.
- User Training and Support: Provide training and support to end-users and resolve SharePoint-related issues promptly.
- Monitoring and Optimization: Monitor SharePoint performance, analyze usage patterns, and recommend optimizations to enhance system performance and user experience.
- Troubleshooting: Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to SharePoint.
- Microsoft Teams Administration: Manage Microsoft Teams settings, channels, tabs, and apps, ensuring an optimal experience for end-users.
- PowerShell Scripting :- Experience with PowerShell scripting for SharePoint/Teams administration.
Good to have :-
- Knowledge of SharePoint Framework (SPFx) development.
- Familiarity with third-party SharePoint/Teams tools and add-ins.
