Internal Communications Specialist
This role will be responsible for maintaining relevant and engaging content across all internal communication channels, including the company intranet, "One Syntax" Teams Channel, and company-wide emails. Reporting to the Senior Director of Talent Development and Social Impact, the Global Communications Specialist will play a pivotal role in fostering clear, impactful communication that resonates with employees, aligns with Syntax's brand voice, and drives engagement.
Key Responsibilities
· Content Management:
o Maintain and update the company intranet with relevant, timely content from all functions.
o Ensure the "One Syntax" Teams Channel is consistently updated with compelling and informative posts.
o Manage and edit company-wide email communications for tone, branding, and clarity.
o Collaborate with stakeholders across functions to ensure consistency and alignment of messaging.
· Program Management:
o Partner with leaders and teams across the company to ensure effective utilization of internal communication channels.
o Provide guidance and support to leaders struggling to deliver impactful messages, offering actionable advice and coaching.
· Analytics & Reporting:
o Develop and manage a comprehensive dashboard of key performance indicators (KPIs) to track employee engagement with communications (e.g., views, click rates).
o Regularly review analytics and share insights with stakeholders to improve communication effectiveness.
· Content Optimization & Brand Alignment:
o Edit and refine all internal communication for tone, clarity, and adherence to Syntax’s brand guidelines.
o Ensure content aligns with the company’s mission, values, and strategic objectives.
· Distribution List Management:
o Oversee and maintain accurate and segmented distribution lists for internal communications.
o Ensure proper targeting of messages to relevant employee groups.
Qualifications
· Education & Experience:
o Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Marketing, Business, or a related field.
o 3-5 years of experience in internal communications, program management, or a related role.
· Skills:
o Strong writing and editing skills with an ability to craft clear, engaging, and on-brand content.
o Proficiency with internal platforms (SharePoint, Microsoft Teams) and email management tools.
o Excellent organizational and program management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
o Analytical mindset and experience with tracking communication KPIs and interpreting data.

o Strong interpersonal skills and ability to collaborate effectively across teams and leadership levels.
