Business Development Representative (BDR)
Overview
We are looking for a proactive and results-oriented Business Development Representative (BDR) to drive pipeline growth by identifying and qualifying new business opportunities. This role is key in generating high-quality leads and supporting the sales team in achieving revenue targets.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify and prospect new business opportunities through outbound (calls, emails, LinkedIn) and inbound lead follow-up.
- Conduct initial qualification calls to assess customer needs, budget, and decision-making process.
- Generate and nurture qualified leads (MQLs → SQLs) for the sales team.
- Schedule meetings and product demos for Account Executives.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date CRM records (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot).
- Collaborate closely with Marketing and Sales to align on campaigns and target accounts.
- Execute account-based outreach strategies (ABM).
- Track and report on activity metrics (calls, emails, meetings booked, conversion rates).
- Stay informed on industry trends, competitors, and value propositions.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or related field.
- 1–3+ years of experience in sales, lead generation, or business development (B2B preferred).
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Experience with CRM tools and sales engagement platforms.
- Highly motivated, goal-oriented, and resilient.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, target-driven environment.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in SaaS, IT, or consulting industries.
- Familiarity with sales methodologies (e.g., MEDDICC, SPIN, Challenger).
- Experience with LinkedIn Sales Navigator or similar tools.
- Exposure to account-based marketing (ABM) strategies.
