SAP SD Consultant – Job DescriptionOverviewThe SAP SD Consultant is responsible for designing, configuring, and supporting SAP Sales and Distribution (SD) solutions to meet business requirements. This role partners closely with cross-functional teams, business stakeholders, and technical resources to ensure seamless execution of sales processes, order management, pricing, billing, and logistics functions within SAP.Key ResponsibilitiesLead and support end‑to‑end SAP SD implementations, enhancements, and rollouts.Analyze business needs and translate them into functional requirements and SAP SD configurations.Configure core SD components including Order-to-Cash (OTC), pricing, billing, shipping, credit management, and delivery processing.Ensure integration with other SAP modules such as MM, FI, WM, and PP.Conduct system testing (unit, integration, regression, and UAT) and support defect resolution.Prepare functional documentation, process flows, test scripts, and configuration guides.Collaborate with technical teams on interfaces, enhancements, and custom developments (ABAP).Support master data activities for customers, materials, pricing conditions, and output determination.Deliver user training and knowledge transfer to business teams.Provide post‑go‑live support and continuous improvement recommendations.Act as a trusted advisor to stakeholders on SAP SD processes and best practices.QualificationsBachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Business Administration, Engineering, or related field.3+ years of hands‑on experience in SAP SD configuration and support.Strong knowledge of Order-to-Cash processes.Experience with SAP ECC or S/4HANA (preferred).Understanding of cross‑module integration (FI, MM, WM, PP).Excellent analytical, communication, and problem‑solving skills.Ability to manage priorities and work effectively with global teams.Nice to HaveExperience with SAP S/4HANA simplification items.Knowledge of EDI, IDocs, and integration with external systems.SAP SD Certification.
