Job Summary
The Resourcing Associate plays a critical role in supporting resourcing activities across Germany and North America. This role is responsible for optimizing consultant utilization, maintaining accurate scheduling data, and partnering with key stakeholders to align resources with business priorities. The ideal candidate brings strong analytical ability, sound judgment, and a collaborative approach to managing fast-changing resourcing demands in a dynamic environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Support resourcing activities across Germany and North America.
- Lead the strategic use of SAP RM, SAC, and other global resourcing tools to optimize consultant utilization across multiple business units.
- Ensure data accuracy, integrity, and reporting standards within the scheduling tool, and establish best practices for data governance.
- Oversee complex resourcing assignments by balancing skill alignment with evolving business needs.
- Partner closely with Competency Groups, Consulting Groups, and Delivery teams to anticipate skill requirements and proactively address resource gaps.
- Lead stakeholder meetings to gather, validate, and challenge project requirements to support strategic resource allocation.
- Collaborate with the Contract Hiring Team on contractor engagement and related resourcing needs.
- Address resource scheduling conflicts by implementing creative, scalable solutions that balance operational requirements and consultant engagement.
- Facilitate cross-project collaboration to maximize resource sharing and improve efficiency across the portfolio.
- Analyze utilization data and produce clear reports and recommendations for leadership to support decision-making.
- Champion process improvements in resourcing workflows, tools, and reporting to drive efficiency and scalability.
- Serve as a trusted advisor to leadership on resourcing trends, risks, and opportunities.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in resourcing, workforce management, or a related capacity planning role.
- Proven success managing similar responsibilities in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
- Strong ability to manage changing priorities while maintaining accuracy and composure.
- Excellent stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence at all levels of the organization.
- Advanced proficiency in Excel; data analysis experience is an asset.
- Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Collaborative mindset with the ability to work effectively across teams and business units.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience supporting resourcing in a consulting, professional services, or similar matrixed environment.
- Familiarity with SAP RM, SAC, or other resource management and scheduling tools.
- Demonstrated ability to improve processes, reporting, and operational workflows.
- Experience working across multiple geographies or time zones.
- An appreciation for innovation, continuous improvement, and modern delivery approaches, including automation and AI-enabled services.
Education & Certifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, Operations, or a related field preferred.
- Relevant professional certifications in workforce planning, resource management, project management, or business analysis are an asset.
- Equivalent combination of education and experience will also be considered.
