A functional analyst will be expected to utilize their business experience & SAP FICO expertise to perform the following key activities: 

• Support production, resolve issues, and provide assistance to end users as-needed. 

• Translate business requirements into actionable technical and/or business process solutions. 

• Participate in cross-functional process design workshops to identify the technical changes necessary to solve existing challenges or implement improvements. 

Position Responsibilities 

• Perform configuration, document solutions, unit test, and assist customers with integration and user acceptance testing in SAP ECC & other finance related applications. The areas of focus will include but are not limited to: 

• OpenText VIM with ICC/IES 

• Accounts Payable (AP)  

• Treasury (TR), Banking, & Cash Management (CM) 

• Receivables Management (AR/CRM)  

• Inbound & outbound interfaces 

• Workflow process 

• Perform SAP & other non-SAP applications maintenance, troubleshooting & issue resolution for support activities including daily monitoring of Service Now support requests. 

• Collaborate with other functional & technical teams to ensure seamless integration between FICO, SD, MM etc and external applications. 

• Write detailed functional design documents for SAP enhancements which translate business requirements into workable technological solutions including configuration and/or programming specifications. 

• Provide support for other activities that impact the system including SAP or other finance related applications upgrades, application of support packs, and project work. 

• Provide ad hoc training and consulting to business users as required for run and maintain activities, including remedial SAP training, issue resolution, etc 

• Provide support & guidance to IT Support Analysts by assisting in issue identification, triage, configuration, testing, and solution implementation. 
   

Qualifications 

• This position requires a bachelor's degree and 7-10+ years of technical/business/hands-on experience. 

• The individual must be able to work both autonomously and in collaborative teams from business requirements gathering through solution delivery. 

• Demonstrated analytical skills and an ability to multitask including balancing support and project demands across varying finance & accounting business areas. 

• 7+ years of SAP ECC functional experience required including 3-5 years working with SAP treasury, banking, accounts payable, and credit.  

• 2+ full lifecycle SAP implementations and 1+ upgrade cycle required. 

• 2-3+ years post implementation support required. 

• Vertex experience is desirable. 

• SAP FI and/or CO Certification is desirable. 

• Bank of America’s Intelligent Receivables solution experience is desirable. 

• M&A integration experience desirable. 

• Demonstrated strong collaboration, interpersonal and communication skills are required.
