SAP DM Solution Architect

Digital Manufacturing Solution Architect

We are looking for a skilled SAP Digital Manufacturing Solution Architect to join our team and serve as the functional lead of configuration and implementation of SAP Digital Manufacturing (DM) module. The solution architect will be responsible in a hands-on role for leading workshops to gathering and understand customer requirements, leading configuration and testing efforts, and supporting the full implementation of SAP DM to meet business needs.

Responsibilities:

• Functional Lead for SAP DM Projects: Directly drive the implementation of DM by performing configuration tasks while also provide leadership, direction, and mentorship to junior functional consultants
• Serve as lead functional consultant for all SAP Activate phases of the project (Discover, Prepare, Explore, Realize, Deploy, and Run)
• Works closely with technical consultants to ensure functional requirements are understood and the most effective solution is recommended to the client
• Create and Lead Presales Demos
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather and analyze business requirements
• Prepare for and lead SAP DM (Digital Manufacturing) Explore Workshops
• Advocate for SAP DM best practice solutions to effectively meet business requirements, solve existing pain points, and bring tangible business benefits to clients
• Analyze existing business processes and identify opportunities for improvement
  • Stay current with SAP technologies (Quarterly Releases), industry trends, and emerging best practices
• Translate business needs to Write Functional Specs for Custom Solutions
  • Develop and document functional specifications, process flows, and data models
• Define DM integration to S/4 (PP, QM, PM, IM, EWM)
• Setup integration to the shop floor level systems and devices (PCo, Production Connector)
• Support client knowledge transfer
• Create Test Plan and Lead Testing (UAT, ITC, E2E)

Requirements:

• SAP Implementation Experience Required
• SAP Production Planning (PP) experience Preferred
• MES Experience Strongly Preferred
• Manufacturing Experience Preferred
• Ability to travel 25% or more
