SAP Delivery Methodology & Project Governance

Location: Thornhill, Ontario (In-Office)
Reporting to: Cara Ridenhour, SAP Activate Methodology Leader

Job Summary
Syntax is seeking a motivated Summer Intern to support the development and rollout of a unified SAP professional services delivery methodology across all global Syntax regions. This role will provide valuable exposure to enterprise consulting, SAP project delivery, and global program governance within a fast-paced professional services environment. Working directly with Cara Ridenhour and the broader project governance organization, the intern will assist in documenting processes, supporting methodology adoption, and engaging in governance activities that enhance delivery consistency and quality across SAP projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Support the development and documentation of Syntax’s unified SAP Activate-based delivery methodology.
• Assist in organizing, updating, and maintaining project templates, playbooks, and governance artifacts.
• Coordinate feedback from regional delivery teams to ensure the methodology reflects global best practices.
• Conduct research on industry standards and methodology improvements for SAP implementations.
• Help prepare internal training materials and communications for methodology rollout.
• Support the Project Governance organization with reporting, documentation, and process improvement initiatives.
• Track adoption metrics and gather feedback from project teams.

Required Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in a university program in business, information systems, engineering, computer science, or a related field.
• Interest in technology consulting, enterprise software, or project management.
• Strong organizational, analytical, and documentation skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a structured, professional environment.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Excel, Word); familiarity with collaboration tools such as Teams or SharePoint is helpful.

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous internship experience in consulting or project management.
• Basic understanding of SAP solutions and methodologies.
• Familiarity with project governance frameworks.

Education & Certifications

• Enrollment in a university program related to business, information systems, engineering, computer science, or equivalent.
• Relevant coursework or projects in project management, consulting, or SAP technologies is an asset.
