Business AI Advisor

Syntax is seeking an Business AI Advisor to help enterprise customers identify high-value AI opportunities and turn them into measurable business outcomes. Supporting Manufacturing and Retail & Consumer industries, this customer-facing role combines AI advisory expertise, industry knowledge, enterprise technology understanding, and commercial accountability.

Key Responsibilities

Lead executive and operational AI discovery sessions to identify business challenges, processes, data, and technology opportunities.

Prioritize AI use cases based on business value, technical feasibility, and organizational readiness.

Build business cases and value propositions that support AI investment decisions.

Advise customers on GenAI, agentic AI, copilots, predictive AI, and intelligent automation—including when AI is not the right solution.

Translate customer needs into practical AI solution concepts in partnership with architects, product leaders, and delivery teams.

Understand how AI integrates with enterprise data, workflows, applications, APIs, identity, business rules, and human decision-making.

Build qualified AI pipeline and develop opportunities with account teams, new-logo prospects, and technology partners.

Develop industry thought leadership through customer stories, events, roundtables, and industry points of view.

Remain engaged from discovery through deployment and adoption, connecting solutions to measurable business outcomes and identifying expansion opportunities.

Bring industry and customer insights back to Syntax to influence AI solutions, accelerators, and future offerings.

What You Bring

Meaningful expertise in at least one priority industry, with a strong understanding of its business processes, economics, challenges, and operating environment.

Practical enterprise AI experience across areas such as GenAI, agentic AI, AI solution design, data/AI governance, automation, enterprise integration, production deployment, and AI adoption.

Strong understanding of enterprise processes, applications, ERP, transactional systems, master data, workflows, APIs, permissions, and business rules.

Proven customer advisory experience, including executive discovery, solution development, business cases, and commercial opportunity development.

Ability to sell through expertise and credibility rather than traditional sales tactics.
Must have either manufacturing or retail indusrty experience.
