As Staffing controller within our consulting firm, you will The Staffing Controller plays a pivotal role in the Global SAP Optimization Service consulting firm, which boasts SAP Centers of Excellence (CoE) in various countries. This dynamic position collaborates closely with the Optimization Service Manager (OSM) and the Expert Team Manager (ETM) to oversee staffing and resource allocation for the SAP Optimization Service Offering.
Key responsibilities include monitoring staffing needs, analyzing resource utilization, and ensuring efficient allocation of resources. The Staffing Controller will work in partnership with the OSM and ETM to align staffing levels with the organization’s strategic business objectives. This role requires strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills, with a focus on maximizing resource utilization and optimizing planning and staffing.
Your Role and Responsibilities:
- Strategic Workforce Planning: Collaborate with the OSM and ETM to forecast staffing needs based on project requirements, client engagements, and business growth strategies across multiple global locations.
- Resource Allocation Management: Efficiently allocate SAP consultants to various projects, ensuring the right skill sets are matched to client needs while optimizing resource utilization across the global SAP CoEs.
- Client Partnership Engagement: Engage with the OSM to understand client needs, fostering strong partnerships that enhance the delivery of SAP optimization services as an extension of the Client Center of Excellence.
- Resource Allocation: Ensure the efficient allocation of resources across various teams and projects, balancing workloads to prevent overstaffing or understaffing.
- Staff Utilization Tracking: Monitor and report on staff utilization rates, identifying underutilized or overworked resources and proposing solutions to optimize performance.
- Recruitment Coordination: Collaborate with the Director of SAP CoE to fill staffing gaps, ensuring the timely hiring of qualified personnel to meet business needs.
You Have
Skills and Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Business Administration, or a related field
- Experience: 2+ years of experience in staffing, workforce management, or human resources, preferably within an SAP consulting environment
- SAP Knowledge: Strong understanding of SAP applications and familiarity with consulting practices related to optimization services.
- Analytical Skills: Excellent analytical skills with a focus on data-driven decision-making and performance improvement.
- Communication Skills: Strong communication and interpersonal skills to engage and collaborate effectively with teams across different regions.
- Technical Proficiency: Proficiency in staffing management software, analytic platforms and HRIS (e.g., Workday, SAP SuccessFactors).
- Must possess advanced skills in Microsoft office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
