Senior Developer - GenAI Knowledge Bases

The developer at Syntax we are looking for is a full-time, passionate, and driven engineer to join our growing GenAI development team. We are building innovative GenAI-based solutions and need a strong engineer to help build our custom knowledge bases for unique business applications.

Responsibilities:

· Develop custom knowledge bases using our GenAI platform tailored for unique business applications.

· Work independently to design and implement knowledge bases and related solutions.

· Utilize analytics and machine learning to enhance and optimize knowledge base performance.

· Collaborate with other team members and stakeholders to define requirements and develop features.

· Ensure the integrity and accuracy of data within the knowledge bases.

· Thoroughly test and validate solutions prior to deployment.

· Participate in code reviews.

· Integrate knowledge bases with internal and external APIs.

· Communicate needs and roadblocks promptly and clearly.

Qualifications:

· Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field plus a minimum of 7 years of professional development experience, with at least 5 years in Python.

· Strong background in analytics, machine learning, and GenAI.

· Experience with GenAI frameworks (Langchain, llamaindex, CrewAI, etc.).

· Proven experience in building and managing enterprise software platforms.

· Extensive knowledge of design patterns and software architecture principles.

· Strong understanding of cloud infrastructures such as AWS, Azure, and GCP.

· Experience using Git for source control, including branching, merging, and resolving conflicts.

Plus:

· Experience working with GitLab for issue tracking and reporting progress on assigned tasks.

· Experience working with GitLab CI for process automation including linting, testing, analyzing, reviewing, building, and deploying code.

· Knowledge of various machine learning frameworks and libraries.

· Familiarity with building and maintaining APIs.

· Knowledge of containerization technologies like Docker and Kubernetes.
