Job Summary: Syntax is seeking a knowledgeable and motivated Senior Digital Manufacturing Consultant to join our SAP Digital Manufacturing (DM) Team in North America. This role offers the opportunity to work on transformative Industry 4.0 projects, implementing SAP Digital Manufacturing solutions to enhance client processes. Key Responsibilities:
- Serve as the primary point of contact for customers during the implementation of SAP Digital Manufacturing.
- Act as a functional consultant throughout all phases of the SAP Activate project.
- Prepare for and lead Fit-to-Standard workshops to assess customer needs and solution fit.
- Coordinate and execute configuration tasks that support SAP DM implementation projects.
- Assist with the integration of Digital Manufacturing with other SAP modules, including Production Planning (PP), Quality Management (QM), Plant Maintenance (PM), Inventory Management (IM), Extended Warehouse Management (EWM), and machine/device integration.
- Provide support for customer training, testing, and post-implementation assistance.
- Collaborate with team members to enhance expertise in SAP DM solutions.
- Support presales demonstrations and workshops to showcase SAP DM capabilities.
- Demonstrate initiative and ownership in all assigned tasks and responsibilities.
Required Qualifications:
- Minimum of 2 years of manufacturing experience is required.
- Strongly preferred experience in Manufacturing Execution System (MES) implementations.
- A passion for learning new SAP technologies and implementing innovative projects.
- Willingness to travel up to 25% to client locations across North America.
- Preferred experience in SAP Production Planning (PP) implementations.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with SAP Digital Manufacturing solutions.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with clients and team members.
Education & Certifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Information Technology, Manufacturing, or a related field is preferred.
- SAP and industry certifications are a plus.
