We are seeking an experienced SAP SD/MM Consultant to join our AMS team in Syntax. As an expert resource in SAP SD/MM solutions, you will be a trusted partner for our customers and stakeholders. Your ability to manage complex challenges and deliver value through your expertise and our solutions will be critical to success in this role.

Candidates with previous Public Cloud experience will be highly regarded, as our service offerings increasingly leverage cloud-based technologies to support client needs.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Implementation and Support:
    • Facilitate the implementation and ongoing support of SAP SD/MM solutions.
    • Perform detailed analyses of complex business processes and provide appropriate system solutions.
    • Identify, interpret, validate, and document customer requirements.
  • Requirement Gathering and Design:
    • Facilitate workshops to collect operational requirements.
    • Map operational requirements, processes, and key objectives to develop product changes needed to meet customer needs.
    • Design, customize, configure, and test the SD and MM modules.
  • Problem-Solving and Issue Resolution:
    • Identify gaps, problems, and alternatives during solution implementation or support.
    • Act as an intermediary with the client for problem resolution, investigating, analyzing, and solving software-related issues.
    • Manage urgent changes or transport requests for high-priority problems.
  • Documentation and Training:
    • Document system design, test scenarios, and results.
    • Proactively identify and deliver system or process improvements.
    • Provide consulting services on new locations and existing support projects.
    • Deliver ad hoc user training and support as needed.

Required Skills and Experience:

  • SAP Expertise:
    • At least 5 years of experience in implementation projects (including at least one full cycle), support, design, and configuration of SAP SD/MM modules.
    • Strong knowledge of the main integration points with other SAP modules, such as PM and QM (experience in these modules is an asset).
  • Business Process Knowledge:
    • Experience in professional services or distribution industries is an asset.
    • Understanding of accounting and business processes.
  • Communication Skills:
    • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills in both English and French (required for communication with customers, partners, and international subsidiaries).
  • Project Management:
    • Ability to manage multiple tasks, deliverables, and projects simultaneously.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Public Cloud Experience:
    • Familiarity with Public Cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud, especially in the context of hosting or integrating SAP solutions.
    • Experience with SAP solutions deployed on Public Cloud environments is a distinct advantage.
  • Additional SAP Knowledge:
    • Experience with PM and QM modules is an asset.
    • Knowledge of advanced SAP functionalities and integrations.
