SAP SD Consultant
Job Summary: Syntax is seeking a knowledgeable SAP SD Consultant to join our team. In this role, you will analyze and document business requirements by conducting information-gathering sessions with clients and mapping those requirements to SAP business processes. You will leverage your expertise to recommend appropriate SAP business processes, conduct functionality testing, and provide training to end-users. Your ability to coordinate project tasks under tight deadlines while maintaining strong relationships with clients will be crucial to our success.
Key Responsibilities:
- Analyze business requirements, including functional and technical needs, by conducting information-gathering sessions with clients and documenting an accurate understanding of their requirements.
- Make informed recommendations for selecting appropriate SAP business processes to effectively meet client needs.
- Utilize testing methodologies and tools for functionality testing, including unit, integration, system, regression, and dry run testing.
- Design and develop comprehensive test plans, including test objectives, test cases, test data, and test scripts for executing various types of testing to ensure solutions meet business requirements.
- Develop process models based on business requirements to assess completeness of information and process components.
- Coordinate the execution of project tasks in your functional area while effectively managing tight project deadlines.
- Provide technical support for business applications or infrastructure, including break/fix solutions, minor enhancements, monitoring, and testing, to maintain productivity levels.
- Deliver basic SAP training to client end-users to facilitate effective use of SAP functionalities.
- Collaborate closely with business decision-makers and end-users to align solutions with business goals.
- Demonstrate strong oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
Desired Skills & Experience:
- Experience with SAP SD module, with additional knowledge of MM (Materials Management).
- Experience in pre-sales support, including demos, preparation, and client presentations.
Education & Certifications:
- SAP Certification is required.
- A University Degree in a relevant field is preferred.
