Position Summary

Syntax is seeking an experienced PM/EAM Consultant to join our Application Managed Services (AMS) team. This role focuses on supporting and optimizing SAP Plant Maintenance (PM) and Enterprise Asset Management (EAM) for customers across a managed services model.

Experience with Prometheus is required, while knowledge of SAP Customer Service (CS) and hands-on experience with SAP S/4HANA Public Cloud Edition are considered strong assets.

This position is client-facing and requires excellent communication skills, a proactive mindset, and the ability to work effectively with global teams. Bilingual fluency in English and French is mandatory.


Key Responsibilities

  • Provide functional support for SAP PM/EAM within an AMS service model, including incidents, service requests, enhancements, and continuous improvement activities.
  • Configure and optimize PM/EAM processes in alignment with customer requirements and SAP best practices.
  • Support and enhance Prometheus modules such as Scheduling, Permitting, and Work Management.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams across development, integration, infrastructure, and cloud operations.
  • Conduct root-cause analysis and implement long-term corrective and preventive actions.
  • Participate in workshops, impact analyses, and change management cycles.
  • Prepare functional documentation, testing materials, training content, and operational guides.
  • Build strong customer relationships and act as a trusted advisor for asset management improvements.
  • Assist customers working with SAP Public Cloud innovation cycles when applicable.

Required Qualifications

  • 5+ years of functional experience with SAP PM/EAM.
  • Mandatory experience with Prometheus.
  • Bilingual English/French (written and spoken).
  • Strong analytical, diagnostic, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a collaborative, global team environment.
  • Experience working in an AMS or managed services model.

Strong Assets

  • Experience with SAP Customer Service (CS).
  • Experience with SAP S/4HANA Public Cloud Edition, including fit‑to‑standard approaches and release cycles.
  • Understanding of PM/EAM integration points (MM, FI/CO, SD).
  • ITIL methodology knowledge or certification.
