SAP FICO Consultant
Job Summary: Syntax Systems Ltd is seeking a highly experienced SAP FICO Consultant to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have over 10 years of hands-on SAP FICO experience, with a proven track record of successfully implementing SAP solutions. This role involves analyzing business requirements, providing informed recommendations on SAP processes, conducting functionality testing, and delivering training to end-users. The SAP FICO Consultant will collaborate closely with clients to ensure that SAP solutions effectively meet their business needs while maintaining productivity levels.
Key Responsibilities:
- Analyze business requirements by conducting information-gathering sessions with clients, documenting a thorough understanding of their needs, and mapping them to SAP business processes.
- Make informed recommendations for selecting appropriate SAP business processes to meet client requirements effectively.
- Utilize testing methodologies to conduct functionality testing, including unit, integration, system, regression, and dry run testing.
- Design and develop comprehensive test plans, including objectives, test cases, test data, and test scripts, to ensure solutions meet business requirements.
- Create process models based on business requirements to assess the completeness of information and process components.
- Coordinate the execution of project tasks in your functional area, effectively managing tight project deadlines.
- Provide support for business applications or infrastructure, including break/fix solutions, minor enhancements, monitoring, and testing.
- Deliver basic SAP training to client end-users and assist them in utilizing SAP functionalities.
- Collaborate closely with business decision-makers and end-users to align solutions with business goals.
- Demonstrate strong interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills.
Required Qualifications:
- 10+ years of hands-on SAP FICO experience.
- Minimum of 5 full life cycle implementations of SAP.
- Knowledge of US Tax configuration.
- Strong business acumen and experience in management consulting.
- Ability to travel internationally as needed.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Working experience with SAP S/4HANA Finance, including Fiori Applications.
- Previous experience as an accountant is considered an asset.
Education & Certifications:
- SAP Certification is required.
- A University Degree in Finance, Accounting, Information Technology, or a related field is preferred.
