Senior SAP MM Consultant
Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced SAP professional to join our dynamic team at Syntax. The ideal candidate will possess a strong passion for customer service and exceptional analytical skills. This role is critical in driving transformational change for our customers through innovative and effective SAP solutions. As a member of one of the fastest-growing SAP practices in North America, you will lead high-priority projects and collaborate with clients to maximize their value.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead a team of MM consultants on high-priority, shorter-term projects.
- Support pre-sales activities including RFP responses, client discovery, and demo preparation and delivery.
- Collaborate with the MM/WM competency lead to conduct QA checks for logistics implementations.
- Drive improvements in Syntax's logistics intellectual property and delivery capabilities alongside the MM/WM competency lead.
- Take the lead in designing complex logistics enhancements and/or extensions to standard SAP solutions.
- Provide functional and architectural guidance to teams developing cutting-edge solutions in the logistics space, such as mobile solutions and business intelligence.
- Utilize and set up the Fiori UX front end, ensuring a seamless user experience.
- Engage with new Fiori tools, including CDS view queries and situation handling, to enhance project outcomes.
- Maintain a solid understanding of key MM Fiori apps relevant to the role of an MM end user.
- Understand the relationship between Fiori users, security, catalogs, and groups.
Required Qualifications:
- 10+ years of hands-on SAP MM experience.
- A minimum of 5 full life cycle implementations of SAP.
- Proven ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and drive customer-centric results.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a focus on innovation.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with Fiori tools and features beyond basic usage, including advanced workflow and situation handling.
- Previous experience in logistics-related SAP roles or projects.
Education & Certifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Relevant SAP certifications are preferred.
