Job Summary: As a Junior Project Manager at Syntax, you will play a vital role in supporting the successful execution of projects across various domains. You will collaborate closely with senior project managers and cross-functional teams to ensure that project goals, timelines, and budgets are met. Key Responsibilities:
• Support the planning, coordination, and delivery of project activities
• Assist in analysing client business processes and requirements to help develop effective project plans.
• Help organize and facilitate project meetings, workshops, and sprint ceremonies.
• Track project progress, timelines, and deliverables, ensuring tasks are completed according to the project plan.
• Collaborate with project teams to gather requirements, document decisions, and maintain project documentation.
• Monitor risks, issues, and action items, escalating concerns to the Project Manager when necessary.
• Assist with testing coordination and troubleshooting to ensure project deliverables meet quality standards.
• Support change request tracking and maintain project logs (risks, issues, decisions, and actions).
• Communicate project updates to stakeholders and help manage expectations throughout the project lifecycle.
• Contribute to maintaining best practices, tools, and methodologies during project delivery.
• Provide end‑user support or assist with training activities to support successful solution adoption.
• Ensure project documentation such as status reports, meeting notes, and lessons learned are maintained.
Required Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Business Administration, Computer Science, or a related field.
• 1–2 years of experience or internship exposure in project coordination, consulting, or IT environments.
• Basic understanding of project management methodologies (Waterfall, Agile, or Scrum).
• Strong organizational, analytical, and problem‑solving skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities in a fast‑paced environment.
• Strong teamwork and collaboration skills.
• Experience with project management tools (e.g., MS Project, Jira, or similar) is an advantage.
• Interest in developing a career in project management within ERP or technology projects.
Preferred Qualifications:
• Familiarity with project management tools is advantageous.
• Project Management certification (e.g., CAPM, PMP) is a plus but not mandatory.
Education & Certifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field as mentioned above.
• Project Management certification is an advantage but not mandatory.
