**Job Title: SAP DM Senior Consultant**
**Job Summary:**
The SAP DM Senior Consultant serves as the primary point of contact and trusted advisor to Syntax's clients in the areas of Industry 4.0 and Digital Manufacturing. This role is pivotal in leading workshops, advocating for best practice solutions, and driving successful project outcomes. The consultant will collaborate closely with teams to design and implement integration solutions that enhance operational efficiency and deliver measurable business benefits.
**Key Responsibilities:**
- Lead SAP DM (Digital Manufacturing) Explore/Blueprint workshops, guiding clients through the process.
- Advocate for and recommend SAP DM best practice solutions tailored to meet client business needs and resolve existing challenges.
- Collaborate with consulting and client project teams to create comprehensive solution design documents based on SAP DM best practices.
- Define and configure integration with S/4 (PP, QM, PM, IM, EWM) to optimize manufacturing processes.
- Set up integration with shop floor level systems and devices (PCo, Production Connector) to ensure seamless operations.
- Drive and execute end-to-end Digital Manufacturing project activities, including configuration, functional specifications, knowledge transfer, sprint demos, unit testing, FAT, SAT, training, cutover, and hyper-care.
**Required Qualifications:**
- Proven hands-on consulting and implementation experience in MES, Digital Manufacturing, and shop floor connectivity (SCADA/DCS/Historian/LIMS systems).
- Experience leading consulting initiatives in SAP Digital Manufacturing (ME/MII/PCo/DM) is highly desirable.
- Solid industry experience in discrete or process manufacturing environments.
- A strong passion for learning new SAP technologies and implementing innovative solutions for clients.
- Ability to thrive under pressure and meet tight project deadlines.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills with a client-focused approach.
- Willingness to travel as required.
- Must be authorized to work legally in the United States and Canada; sponsorship is not available.
**Preferred Qualifications:**
- Experience in project management methodologies and tools.
- Familiarity with advanced analytics and IoT applications within the manufacturing context.
- Previous experience in a consulting role within a technology or manufacturing firm.
**Education & Certifications:**
- Preferred university degree in a relevant field (e.g., Engineering, Computer Science, Business Administration).
- SAP certifications related to Digital Manufacturing are beneficial.
- Industry certifications in manufacturing or project management are considered an asset.
