As Staffing controller within our consulting firm, you will The Staffing Controller plays a pivotal role in the Global AMS consulting firm, which boasts SAP Centers of Excellence (CoE) in various countries. This dynamic position collaborates closely with the Service Delivery Manager (SDM) and the Expert Team Manager (ETM) to oversee staffing and resource allocation for the SAP AMS Service Offering.

Key responsibilities include monitoring staffing needs, analyzing resource utilization, and ensuring efficient allocation of resources. The Staffing Controller will work in partnership with the SDM and ETM to align staffing levels with the organization’s strategic business objectives. This role requires strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills, with a focus on maximizing resource utilization and optimizing planning and staffing.

Your Role and Responsibilities:

  • Strategic Workforce Planning: Collaborate with the SDM and ETM to forecast staffing needs based on project requirements, client engagements, and business growth strategies across multiple global locations.
  • Resource Allocation Management: Efficiently allocate SAP consultants to various projects, ensuring the right skill sets are matched to client needs while optimizing resource utilization across the global SAP CoEs.
  • Client Partnership Engagement: Engage with the SDM to understand client needs, fostering strong partnerships that enhance the delivery of SAP optimization services as an extension of the Client Center of Excellence.
  • Performance Oversight: Monitor and analyze team performance metrics, ensuring optimal consultant utilization and identifying areas for improvement.
  • Compliance and Quality Assurance: Ensure that all staffing practices and service delivery comply with local and international labor laws, as well as the firm’s quality standards and policies.
  • Workforce Planning: Partner with Directors of SAP COE to forecast staffing needs based on current and future business demands, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.
  • Resource Allocation: Ensure the efficient allocation of resources across various teams and projects, balancing workloads to prevent overstaffing or understaffing.
  • Scheduling and Forecasting: Develop and maintain schedules that align staffing levels with operational requirements while ensuring compliance with labor laws and company policies.
  • Staff Utilization Tracking: Monitor and report on staff utilization rates, identifying underutilized or overworked resources and proposing solutions to optimize performance.
  • Recruitment Coordination: Collaborate with the Director of SAP CoE to fill staffing gaps, ensuring the timely hiring of qualified personnel to meet business needs.
  • Reporting and Analytics: Prepare comprehensive reports on staffing metrics, labor costs, and workforce productivity, providing actionable insights to management for informed strategic decision-making.
  • Operational Efficiency: Identify opportunities for improving staffing processes, systems, and tools to enhance overall operational efficiency and workforce effectiveness.

You Have

 

Skills and Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Business Administration, or a related field; Master’s degree preferred.
  • Experience: 5+ years of experience in staffing, workforce management, or human resources, preferably within an SAP consulting environment
  • SAP Knowledge: Strong understanding of SAP applications and familiarity with consulting practices related to optimization services.
  • Analytical Skills: Excellent analytical skills with a focus on data-driven decision-making and performance improvement.
  • Communication Skills: Strong communication and interpersonal skills to engage and collaborate effectively with teams across different regions.
  • Technical Proficiency: Proficiency in staffing management software, analytic platforms and HRIS (e.g., Workday, SAP SuccessFactors).
  • International Experience: Experience working in a multi-country environment with a thorough understanding of local labor laws and regulations.
