Job Description:

We are seeking a Smartsheet Expert (m/f/d) within our European Project & Governance Office to strengthen our project planning and tracking capabilities. You will work with our global delivery excellence team to define planning and tracking standards and then set up up plans and tracking mechanisms on projects, thereby helping us improve consistency in project reporting capabilities. In this role, you will work with SAP Cloud ALM and S/4Hana Public Cloud experts to integrate task status and effort data with Smartsheet.

Your Tasks:

· Define project level and portfolio level requirements for usage of Smartsheet to plan and track delivery of individual projects as well as consolidate key performance indicators across projects

· Agree on standards with the global delivery excellence team and the project management team leader, implement those standards on projects as part of our project launch process (SYN Start); key standards will include critical path based plans for various project types, estimation to complete calculations, project performance and deep dive dashboards to monitor project health and key task completion, and project portfolio performance consolidation

· Work with local PM team leader and global delivery excellence on how to pull data from SAP Cloud ALM and SAP S/4HANA Public Cloud into Smartsheet

· As part of the SYN Start Team, set up project planning and tracking formats, mechanisms, and processes on projects in Europe and remotely also for projects running in North America

Your Profile:

· Bachelor or masters degree in business administration and/or computer science

· Minimum of 3 years of experience working in the consulting or IT industry, using Smartsheet as a planning and tracking tool

· Exceptional verbal and written communication skills in German and English

· Ability to balance competing or conflicting requests of various projects, stakeholders, requiring a professional approach and influencing skills

· Strong analytical skills and business acumen, strong facilitation skills; able to clarify and articulate issues, meeting outcomes and areas of focus

· Demonstrated deep expertise in Smartsheet including design of complex sheets, automation and integration to other data sources, dependency definition in critical path based plans, reporting structures, resource logic, creation of dashboards, triggering workflowsm, and orchestration of project portfolios

· Strong skills in data integration, e.g., Data Shuttle, DataMesh, API-based connections) as well as data-driven analysis and visualization

· Previous exposure to integration with SAP Cloud ALM and SAP S/4HANA Public Cloud would be an asset, as well as knowledge of project management and collaboration tools.
