Position Overview:
We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented SAP Security Consultant specializing in Roles & Authorizations to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining SAP security solutions, ensuring compliance with organizational policies and industry standards. This role requires excellent analytical skills, deep knowledge of SAP systems, and the ability to collaborate across teams to safeguard critical enterprise data.
Key Responsibilities:
Roles & Authorizations Management:
- Design, develop, and maintain SAP roles and authorizations to ensure appropriate access control across SAP systems.
- Analyze business requirements and translate them into security solutions.
- Perform role testing and validation to ensure proper functionality.
User Access Management:
- Manage user provisioning and de-provisioning processes in SAP systems.
- Ensure segregation of duties (SoD) and compliance with organizational security policies.
- Monitor and resolve access-related issues and conflicts.
SAP Security Administration:
- Configure and enforce security policies within SAP systems.
- Conduct regular audits and reviews of SAP security settings.
- Implement security patches and updates as needed.
Compliance & Risk Management:
- Ensure compliance with GDPR, SOX, and other regulatory requirements.
- Identify and mitigate security risks within SAP environments.
- Collaborate with auditors and provide documentation for security reviews.
Collaboration & Support:
- Work closely with functional and technical teams to ensure seamless integration of security solutions.
- Provide training and support to end-users on SAP security best practices.
- Assist in incident response and troubleshooting for security-related issues.
Qualifications & Skills Required:
Technical Expertise:
- Strong knowledge of SAP security concepts, including roles, profiles, and authorization objects.
- Experience with SAP ECC, S/4HANA, SAP Fiori, BW/BI, and other SAP modules.
- Familiarity with SAP GRC (Governance, Risk, and Compliance) tools.
Analytical Skills:
- Ability to analyze complex security requirements and develop practical solutions.
- Proficiency in troubleshooting and resolving authorization issues efficiently.
Compliance Knowledge:
- Understanding of regulatory frameworks like GDPR, SOX, and ISO 27001.
- Experience in SoD risk analysis and remediation.
Soft Skills:
- Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Detail-oriented with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
Preferred Qualifications:
o SAP Security certification or equivalent.
o Experience with cloud-based SAP solutions (e.g. Xiting is a big advantage)
o Knowledge of cybersecurity principles and tools.
Language Skills:
o Strong Proficiency in English (mandatory)
o German language is a big advantage
