Position Overview:


We are seeking a skilled SAP SD (Sales and Distribution) Consultant to join our team and play a pivotal role in implementing, optimizing, and supporting SAP Sales and Distribution solutions to support business processes. This role involves working closely with stakeholders, analyzing business requirements, and providing technical solutions to improve efficiency and enhance operations.

Key Responsibilities:

SAP Implementation & Support:

    • Configure and implement SAP SD module to meet business needs.
    • Provide post-implementation support and resolve technical issues.

Business Analysis:

    • Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into SAP solutions.
    • Create detailed documentation, including functional specifications and process flows.

Process Optimization:

    • Identify opportunities to improve sales and distribution processes using SAP functionalities.
    • Propose and implement system enhancements.

Integration & Testing:

    • Ensure seamless integration of SD with other SAP modules (e.g., MM, FI).
    • Conduct unit testing, integration testing, and user acceptance testing (UAT).

User Training & Support:

    • Train end-users on SAP SD processes and functionalities.
    • Provide ongoing system support and troubleshoot issues.

Reporting & Documentation:

    • Develop reports and dashboards for sales and distribution data analysis.
    • Maintain comprehensive documentation of system configurations and processes.

Qualifications & Skills Required:

  • Education:
    • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Business Administration, Computer Science, or a related field is a big advantage
    • SAP SD certification is highly desirable but not mandatory
  • Experience:
    • Implementation Experience: At least 3 years of experience in full-cycle SAP SD implementations, including project planning, configuration, testing, and post-go-live support.
    • Support Experience: Proven track record of providing end-user support and resolving complex issues within the SAP SD module.
    • Cross-Module Knowledge: Understanding of integration points between SD and other modules such as MM (Material Management), FI (Finance), and PP (Production Planning).
    • Experience with SAP S/4HANA is a significant advantage.
  • Technical Skills:

Expertise in configuring core SAP SD functionalities, including:

  • Sales order management.
  • Pricing and conditions techniques.
  • Delivery processing.
  • Billing and invoicing.
  • Credit management and risk analysis.
  • Customer master data management.
  • Output determination (e.g., forms, invoices, delivery notes).

 

Proficiency in SAP tools and technologies such as:

    • SAP Query, ABAP debugging (basic understanding).
    • EDI (Electronic Data Interchange) and IDOC processing.
    • Configuration of system enhancements and user exits.
    • Knowledge of SAP Fiori apps for SD processes is an advantage
  • Soft Skills:
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact with business users and technical teams.
    • Ability to work in a team and manage multiple priorities
  • Language Skills:

 

  • Strong Proficiency in English (mandatory)
  • German language is a big advantage
