Position Overview:

We are seeking a skilled SAP PP (Production Planning) Consultant to join our team and play a pivotal role in implementing, optimizing, and supporting SAP Production Planning solutions. The ideal candidate will work closely with stakeholders to streamline production processes, improve operational efficiency, and ensure seamless integration with other SAP modules. This role requires expertise in SAP PP functionalities and a strong understanding of manufacturing processes.

Key Responsibilities:

SAP PP Implementation:

• • Configure and implement SAP PP solutions for production planning, scheduling, and execution.
  • Perform system customization to meet specific business requirements.

Business Process Analysis & Optimization:

• • Analyze existing production processes and recommend SAP PP improvements.
  • Align SAP PP functionalities with industry best practices.

Integration Across Modules:

• • Ensure smooth integration of SAP PP with other modules such as MM (Material Management), SD (Sales and Distribution), and QM (Quality Management).
  • Facilitate end-to-end process mapping for production and supply chain management.

System Testing & Validation:

• • Conduct unit, integration, and user acceptance testing (UAT) to ensure system reliability.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues during testing and post-go-live phases.

User Training & Documentation:

• • Develop training materials and conduct workshops for end-users.
  • Maintain documentation for configurations, business processes, and technical specifications.

Support & Maintenance:

• • Provide ongoing support for SAP PP processes post-implementation.
  • Resolve technical issues and implement system updates or enhancements.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• SAP PP Expertise:
  • Strong hands-on experience in SAP PP module implementation, configuration, and support.
  • Proficiency in core SAP PP functionalities like MRP, production orders, BOMs, work centers, and routings.
  • Knowledge of advanced SAP PP concepts like capacity planning, Kanban, and repetitive manufacturing.
• Integration Skills:
  • Experience with integration between SAP PP and other modules (e.g., MM, SD, QM, PM).
  • Familiarity with middleware tools (SAP CPI, SAP PI/PO) and data interfaces (IDocs, APIs).
• Manufacturing Domain Knowledge:
  • Solid understanding of production processes in industries like automotive, pharmaceuticals, FMCG, or high-tech manufacturing is a big advantage.
• Technical Knowledge:
  • Ability to work with developers to design and implement custom solutions.
  • Familiarity with S/4HANA PP functionalities and Fiori apps is a plus.

Preferred Qualifications:

• SAP PP Certification is highly desirable.
• Experience with SAP S/4HANA PP implementations.
• Knowledge of complementary modules like SAP QM (Quality Management) and SAP PM (Plant Maintenance).
• Understanding of lean manufacturing principles and shop floor automation.

Soft Skills:

• • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact with business users and technical teams.
  • Ability to work in a team and manage multiple priorities

Language Skills:

• Strong Proficiency in English (mandatory)
• German language is a big advantage
