SAP EWM Consultant

Syntax is seeking a skilled and motivated SAP Extended Warehouse Management (EWM) Consultant to join our growing SAP consulting practice. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in implementing, configuring, and supporting SAP EWM solutions to meet business requirements. This role requires strong analytical, technical, and client-facing communication skills.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, configure, and implement SAP EWM solutions to support warehouse and logistics operations.

• Analyze client business processes and translate them into system solutions using SAP EWM.

• Participate in all phases of project implementation including blueprinting, testing, training, and go-live support.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including MM, SD, and TM consultants.

• Provide post-implementation support and troubleshoot system issues.

• Customize and enhance EWM functionalities based on customer needs.

• Develop functional specifications for RICEFW objects (Reports, Interfaces, Conversions, Enhancements, Forms, Workflows).

• Conduct user training and prepare documentation.

• Assist in presales activities and contribute to project proposals when required.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Supply Chain, or a related field.

• Minimum 3–5 years of hands-on experience with SAP EWM (preferably on S/4HANA).

• Experience with inbound, outbound, internal warehouse processes, and RF functionalities.

• Knowledge of integration with SAP ERP modules such as MM, SD, and QM.

• Strong understanding of warehouse operations and supply chain processes.

• Experience in full lifecycle SAP implementations.

• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

• Ability to work independently and in a team-oriented environment.

• Willingness to travel as needed.

Preferred Qualifications:

• SAP EWM certification is a plus.

• Experience with decentralized EWM and embedded EWM in S/4HANA.

• Exposure to SAP Transportation Management (TM) or Yard Logistics (YL).

• Experience working with global clients and multicultural teams.
