Job Description:

We are seeking a Project Controller (m/f/d) to strengthen our organization by managing a portfolio of strategic and operational projects. In this role, you will ensure alignment with business goals, prioritize projects, monitor progress, and ensure that the portfolio delivers optimal value to the company.

Your Tasks:

• Guide/execute the initial set-up of projects in all internal systems, MS Teams, Sharepoint, SAP Cloud ALM and other project management tools, if applicable.
• Communicate project booking structure and rules (working hours and travel regulations) per project
• Initiate all financial reporting per project/customer
• Work with the Project Managers to prepare, maintain and track the project management deliverables
• Assisting in the different PGO project deliverables (Project Charter, Q-Gate, etc).
• Preparing materials for the various forums (Weekly Status, Onboarding sessions or Steerco’s).
• Approving/clarifying timesheets and travel related bookings and expenses.
• Gather information needed for project status reporting and perform weekly update.
• Perform billing cycle in cooperation with the invoicing team and in alignment with contractual agreements
 
Your profile
 
• Degree in Administration or strong professional experience and mindset
• Minimum of 3 years of experience working in an IT or consulting environment
• Strong verbal and written communication skills in German and English
• Strong MS Excel skills required to manage, track and report the project budget (other MS office and project management related applications are equally as important)
• Ideally experience with SAP modules and transactions to manage the Order to Cash process
• Ability to balance competing or conflicting tasks and requests of various projects and stakeholders daily.
• Strong analytical skills and business acumen, strong facilitation skills; ability to clarify and articulate issues.
• Knowledge of or previous exposure to SAP would be an asset, as well as knowledge of SAP Activate and SAP Cloud ALM.
