Key Responsibilities

  • Act as an internal service provider for global procurement of IT goods and IT services.
  • Manage and execute international procurement projects across all business units.
  • Plan and implement global procurement strategies aligned with corporate objectives.
  • Serve as the interface to internal demand requesters and stakeholders.
  • Participate in the standardization and continuous optimization of procurement processes and workflows. Monitor, observe, and analyze trends in global procurement markets.

Main Tasks

  • Review purchasing requirements to ensure compliance with budget control and cost efficiency.
  • Conduct cost comparisons and benchmarking analyses to support decision-making.
  • Lead and coordinate tendering and bidding processes globally.
  • Negotiate prices, terms, and contracts to secure optimal value for the organization.
  • Ensure proper data management within procurement systems, maintain data accuracy, and drive reporting and analytics to support strategic decisions.
  • Identify cost-saving opportunities and implement value improvement initiatives.
  • Manage global category and supplier portfolios and define corresponding strategies.
  • Prepare and conduct supplier evaluations and corrective action plans.
  • Monitor and control key procurement performance indicators (KPIs).

Qualifications and Skills

  • Experience in international procurement, ideally in IT goods and services.
  • Experience in contract negotiations and supplier performance management.
  • Proven analytical, organizational, and project management skills.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities in an international environment.
  • Fluent in English; or additional languages are an asset.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office products and SAP (Module MM)
